SKW has a policy (SKW policies are jokes) that states you can't hang your sunglasses from your forehead (between your eyes and hair line) or backwards behind your head. It really irks me to see them when they do it so I’m not saying SKW pilots guilty.

As for an Ipod, I have no problems with that. I do it but I hide the cord under my jacket so I look as professional as I can. BUT, the airport is a boring place and walking through the terminal to my a/c lessoning to "Top Gun" rocks. Just joking with the “Top Gun” music! LOL I do have the Y connector so I can plug my Ipod into the a/c or my headset headphone jack. It’s amazing how many pilots do it. You just have to be responsible and keep the volume low, when your work load picks up then turn it off. Although it is fun to hand fly an entire approach (visual) with a little theme music.

Seriously, I like music because it helps me focus. My shirts get dry cleaned and are always ironed, I'm clean shaved and I always try to have an inviting facial expression. That's important, don't wear your problems on your shoulders, don't walk around with an "I’m mightier than thou" attitude and for heaven sake respect others in our profession (except scabs). Regardless of whether they're an FA or pilot.

OOPS! I bought some really nice Bostonians but they killed my feet so I bought Sketchers. They're awesome. We do alot o' walkin'. Walk tall, be proud! I'm ex-Air Force, so I got the uniform thing beat into me.

Another thing stop bad mouthing CAL pilots, CAL still pays the bills, there was also a message about that on ccs. Dude, you're turning into the "Slaphappy" of our company.

 

I am not trying to butt in on your squabble here but if you have been there 3 years why aren't you captain yet? Three of my friends there in IAH have upgraded in two years. (Just going by your profile)
