New ASA minimums

I believe the Pinnacle RJ crash could have been partially attributued to a low time CA and FO (as well as both being stupid). Didn't they take the AC up to 41,000 on a ferry flight, and the FO stalled it while the CA was in the back grabbing a coke. They couldn't restart the engines due to lack of system knowledge (and core lock), and crashed just a few miles short of the runway while trying to deadstick it in.
Experience does count.

Went to the airport yesterday morning did a few tows, and got into a very heated debate on "low time", "high time". Came home and did some venting on the forum, and I do apologize for that. But no matter where I am or what I do I am allways being slammed because of my hours!
But Trackpilot you are exactly right. I was just thinking, all we do is fight with one another, and thats the true problem with this industry. No hard feelings towards anyone, and once again I do apologize!

its a right of passage. its like being a freshman in high school. so what, youll have hours one day and then youll get to slam new guys. i get harrassed constantly for being a low time guy. but its great because they expect nothing of us with our low time. so you can always outperform peoples expectations. think of it that way and youll be good to go.
