Please reference the below quote. Thanks.

Interview with United Express operator Trans States Airlines before you ever begin training or your degree and receive a conditional letter of employment
Pair your training with an Associates or Bachelors Degree from Southeastern University
Go from zero to Certified Flight Instructor in the first 9 months, then work for us as a flight instructor, building flight hours and earning wages while completing your degree
Finance your education and training with student loans or VA benefits
If accepted by Trans States Airlines with a conditional letter of employment be eligible for:
Airline pass benefits on United Airlines
Accrue limited seniority with Trans States Airlines
Supplemental pay as a flight instructor
Participate in an airline transition course specifically designed to ensure your success at Trans States Airlines

Accrue limited seniority with Trans States Airlines
Key word is limited. It would be similar to what Envoy and SkyWest do for their cadet program. You get top seniority in your NEW HIRE CLASS (ie. first pick of base and aircraft in class) and you would start gaining benefits longevity. That’s it and that’s all. You would not be gaining actual seniority until day 1 of indoc.

If this "seniority" works the same way a Skywest cadet's does, it applies only to flight privileges and standby priority. It isn't a valid DOH which would apply to bidding for a line or a base.

Wrong.

All new hires in a class have the same date of hire and overall relative company seniority, but Skywest cadet seniority applies to your seniority in your new hire class. So cadets are the most senior in their class (get first base choice and sim schedule) then everyone else in class based on last 4 SS# low to high. So cadets are more senior than non cadets in the same new hire class. Envoy is the same way.

Still BS.

**** Longevity is not equal to seniority in airlines.

Now if you said they accumulated LONGEVITY FOR PURPOSES OF PAY, VACATION, ETC, that might be an honest statement.

If you're going to come on here and try to BS noobs, you're going to get called out by pros.

Airline industry pros? How many years and how many airlines does it take to qualify?

Well I would say the more airlines the less “pro”, really more of a seasoned amateur or journeyman.
