I'm surprised we're on page 6 and nobody has gotten this right.
1. You need a travel guitar, it helps pass the time.. And it doesn't matter if you don't play guitar-- just get it
2. You also need a black backpack preferably with holes on the back for your earbuds
3. Get the suitcase with 4 wheels, it's way cheaper and easier to roll around
4. Get a cooler from Costco for the suitcase-- also cheaper
5. Get a workout bag to hang on the suitcase
Lastly --pro tip-- don't over pack.. You'll want to have room to bring back souvenirs
Good luck! And welcome!

$1000 for something you wear over 1000 hours per year is worth it. These headsets last 5 plus years. Small price to pay to be more comfortable. I used company headsets my first 10 years in the industry. Wish I would have figured out sooner that company headsets are way less comfortable than some of the new noise cancelling.

One for work clothes, one for overnight clothes with the crew, one for clothes for Grindr dates, one for my headset and laptop, one for food and snacks for the FO and one in case I go grocery shopping so 6. If they say you need less that's because they show up to work looking like a slob, look homeless on overnights and don't get laid on trips.
