Post Should I purchase jepp plates to study?

I'm preparing to interview with the regionals. Should I buy the Jepp plates on foreflight for $199 to help prepare for the interview? I know they like to see Jepp plate knowledge. Not sure how critical this is.

No, waste of money. Download the Jeep plate instructions pdf and do a google search for plates and use that.

All of what’s said then honestly man there’s YouTube. You’ll find lots of howto videos on there from how to read the charts, how to brief them, all the icons on them. And the best part is there are multiple people showing how they brief and read the charts. So you can pick what works best for yourself

Jepp publishes a small instructional booklet of 20 or 30 pages that covers most every detail that can possibly be found on any plate or chart they publish. Can’t remember the exact cost, but it is somewhere in the $5-$10 range. Well worth it, as there is a lot of nuance in the various diagrams they use, the font, color, broken vs. solid lines, etc., and their meanings. This thing covers anything you will ne asked in an interview. Read it and practice a basic approach briefing as others have recommended.

Edit: Just found it -https://www.amazon.com/Introduction-Jeppesen-Navigation-Charts-10011898/dp/B01K0L26OG/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1546921792&sr=8-1&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65&keywords=jeppesen+chart+g uide&dpPl=1&dpID=41UMviPGg3L&ref=plSrch
