Quit beating the low time issue to death. Its happening. It happened in the 60s and 70s. It happens in Europe and all over the world. If the dude can handle the sim let him fly the jet!

i personally have no problem with the "low-time" thing, as i was low time when i was hired, not 300/50 or anything, but still, low, especially when compared to those who came before me. Did meet a captain @ TSA who was hired with 400TT, he was thinking he'd be the lowest time person hired, but he was recently proven wrong.

If i were you, i'd search yourself to make sure you're ready for the experience. It's not that you won't make it through training, plenty have, but plenty haven't also. You'll surely need to bust your butt in training, but so will anyone, whether they have 1000TT, 2000TT or 300TT, the learning curve will be higher than ANYTHING you've attempted to date, and if you fail out, you're stuck with a red X on your resume' and you won't have the EXPERIENCE to go anywhere else, especially with that bright red stain.

Reminds me of a D-Day invasion ya know, "Take the guy on your left, and the guy on your right, by the time this is over one of the three of you won't be here." to which you respond "Damn, i'm sure gonna miss joey."
