Call me inexperienced, but I feel like the only way youd run into issues is if you were looking for issues. Just be a decent person and that's pretty much all that's required.

THIS

In other words, don’t be a jerk. If you’re married, act like your wife is watching. If you’re single, act like your boss is watching.

When I got my first leadership position, my supervising sergeant said “treat people like your commander and their mother are both watching, and you’ll never go wrong.”

You can be taskmaster and critique performance humanely and productively, while not being insulting. You can be a leader who team-builds without crossing any lines.

Or, you can not build those skills. Each of us should choose what works best for us. But it’s a little ridiculous to hear men whine about not having power when — if you ask around — each of us is surrounded by sisters, wife’s, mothers and girlfriends who’ve been demeaned, groped, harassed and abused without recourse for decades because “boys will be boys.”

Time to grow up, men.

The article reports “A helicopter with heat-sensing gear located pilot Bradford hiding behind a shed, his only attire flip-flops and a wristwatch.”

What’s really awesome is that, even in the throes of passion, his Big Pilot Watch stayed on duty so that, no matter what, he would make his show time.

No surprise Big D saw his long term potential and scooped him up!

Perhaps not, but tying together isolated incidents into a life-altering “pattern” across human interaction in every field could be a sign of paranoia, or perhaps just poorly developed reasoning and logic skills.

But you do you, there are internet chat forums for guys like you. If you think you’re “safe” from unfounded sexual allegations in a cockpit with me you’re right, but all other assertions will be quite well-founded...and self-acknowledged, apparently, despite some efforts to help you out here.

Wow. The level of batshiat rationalization going on in this thread is ludicrous, even by pilot self-absorption standards. For the Elevator People: You’re afraid of women. The road to recovery begins with acceptance.

It’s you’re word against mine. You can’t deny that your word carries more weight than any mans word.

I’m not playing a game that has the odds stacked against me. The house always wins unless enough people don’t play.

If my word “carries more weight” than yours, it’s because those doing the weighing find me (1) more credible (2) more rational and/or (3) not paranoid. Or perhaps I’ve just not made a bunch of indefensible written statements in a public forum.

Oh, “bro,” by the way I’m just another dude...or is it so hard for you to believe another male would not agree with you? How DO I (and so many others evidenced on this board) ever manage to get by? What danger we are in...!

Maybe it's time to not engage this individual any more. He obviously has enough on his plate and needs to focus on avoiding evil females who surround him.

“What danger we are in...!”

Were you trying to ask a question there? You probably shouldn’t think of yourself as more credible or rational when you write like that.

You use the word “indefensible” but I don’t think you know what it means. I’ve posted examples I’ve seen with with my own eyes.

You may not think you’re in any danger now, but like I said, give it a few years.
