I go to my bank and get a couple hundred dollars worth of $2 bills. They’re easier to carry, and I kid you not, 50% of valets, van drivers, bell boys, etc. proceed to tell me how thankful they are and that they’re going to give it to their kid, or add it to their “collection” or whatever.

I find that they are more appreciative than when I only have a $5 or especially the uncomfortable moments when I ask to break a $20.

what is embarrassing is when you cheap clowns give a loud "thank you very much" and walk away without tipping a single cent. Don't worry, no matter how quick you do it everybody notices. Every. Single. Person.

Some pilots are cheap. Some pilots are not.

Also your reasoning doesn’t make much sense. So you shouldn’t say thank you if you don’t hand someone money? They provided the basic service they are there for. Nothing exceptional deserving a tip. Loading and unloading bags isn't exceptional.

Us who don’t tip are better than all of you who do. You just wish you had the balls to rise above.
