Yeah well....I've been bugging THE HELL out of them, so I think that may be a reason he called an let me know. He said he was about 95% sure that I'd be in that class so we'll see. I guess they are just busy as heck right now trying to schedule people for classes and bringing new airplanes in. Like ConnectionPilot said, I would give Steve Taylor a call and see what the deal is......

You won't see any movement on the MSP 900 FO's until late summer when the final 3 900's come to MSP. And with that, I would expect only 15 or 20 additional needed in MSP to reach required staffing levels.

I can't wait until class on the 28th
I did talk to someone in training today and the rumor about the Feb class being pushed back to March seems 90% true. Of course that 10% means I need to hear it from someone inside management. I trust my source.

What I've been hearing is that they are pushing the early FEB 900 class back to MArch 10 because of airplanes coming online...currently there is green on green flying (CAPT < 100 and FO < 100 in type) With more airplanes coming online the training department is trying to get caught up. This is why they are pushing everything back...For those of you wondering first MEM CRJ-900 scheduled to start operation in March. Another thing...I don't know where you 900 FO's plan on going, it seems like most of the classes are going to MEM or DTW. My guess is the next 900 class will be mostly MEM. MSP right now is very deep with FO's trying to get there. Just in my class alone out of 16...12 are trying to get back to MSP. None have gotten there yet, they told us its not likely that we'll have it once we are done with training either.

So I have not gotten a call about the feb 25th CRJ-200 class being moved back but question I have is have the finally cleaned out the FO list with people getting done with OE or is there still a massive backup of non line qualified FO's. I had heard a rumor saying that we were going to get more CRJ-200 for MSP on top of the 17 since we are trying to push out Pinch Nickel outta MSP. I know its a rumor and I will take as a rumor but it would be really good news for me since I will be a 200 FO in starting on Feb 25th. For the person who asked about what to bring. I am coming from ND and let me tell ya I will be wearing of course the required clothing for calss but on my off time I will be wearing shorts since MSP is tropical climate compared to ND.
joking of course wear warm clothes, buy a good winter jacket if you dont have one. it can be in the single digits and with wind chill it can be quite bitter. anyway hope this helps and goo lcuk and PM me if you need any questions on winter clothing.
P.S. was -25 F the other day with a -60F wind chill.
