Any chance you would consider starting this topic in a new thread? I'd hate to see this one get a few pages worth of speculation added to it. Good topic, but better suited to it's own thread IMHO.

Regarding business casual for training, I understand the suit and tie first day but after that is it button up shirts, button up shirts with ties, or just polo shirts. What seems to be the norm during training? And does anyone wear jeans or is it strictly khakis. Thanks in advance.

Anything but jeans for pants. As far as shirts went, buttom up or polo shirts were the norm after the first day.

Unless you are at the homested then the only thing within walking distance is sam's club quarter to half mile.

7 year FOs have the seniority now to upgrade in the CRJ. In fact the most junior DTW CRJ900 CA upgrade alternate is a May 2007 hire.

How many more 900s will be delivered ?

Options for more ?

SAAB Training (Captain upgrade "pipeline" to CRJ) must be busy.

Are the more senior guys going into the -200 or the -900?? I would have to think that the -200 might be a bit more senior b/c all of them will be based in MSP??

Actually, a few of them are long time FO's that could have upgraded a while ago but are holding out because they are commuters. I suppose they will eventually take the saab upgrade, due to the better schedules. I was hired in 05 and furloughed, I just recently passed the 1500 hr mark and the first upgrade in DTW I could hold was the 900.

We are guaranteed 36 -900s all of which will be delivered by the end of 2008 and I know there are options for more, not quite sure on the #s for the options.
