SAAB training is very brist indeed from what I've heard.

Seems many senior CAs have opted for CRJ200 for better schedules. Mmost senior CAs have already upgraded in CRJ900 or the CRJ200.

Not yet. Those new hire Captains have not finished training yet. The spring of '07 guys are just starting to trickle out of the training world as we speak. There are still plenty of sevenish year FO's out there. In a couple months, you will probably see some new hire CA's sitting next to pre 9/11 FO's. Should be interesting...

First off, we aren't guaranteed anything... trust me. We are scheduled to receive 36 -900's of which 14 have already been delivered. After the 36 -900's are delivered, there are 17 more <76 seat RJ's that could be flown by any regional, but currently NW mgmt has not indicated that they will exercise this option. Beyond that, there are options for many more RJ's, but mainline airframes would have to be increased on a one-to-one basis. Hope this makes sense.

The flow through award is out, as well as the next vacancy notice.
FOR THIS VACANCY NOTICE, for 14 CR2 Captains, the seat lock is released. The notice says that this is (so far) only for this vacancy notice. Also, 12 CR2 FO's will be hired.

It looks like they have too many MSP SF3 Captains (no duh, huh, with 50ish reserve lines, including build ups). They wish to reduce MSP SF3 CA's by, you guessed it, 14 seats.
