The first ones come due in 2010. NWA is investing a lot of money into them right now though for the interior refirb and paint. I am sure they will be renewed or extended.

Anyone got any predictions on the future of the -900 CA upgrades? Staying the same? Going more jr/sr?

Seems like the seniority numbers have been getting junior. How many more upgrades would be likely this year?

When are they starting to refirb the interiors and paint? Have they started yet?

ive seen a couple that have new refurbished seats they are like blue leather or something. Very few that ive seen though.

Way to early in the game to make that call. Both sides have invested quite a bit into this merger thing, you think they're gonna let a bunch of whiney pilots are gonna get in their way?

BTW if there is a merger, nothing happens to our flow through/back unless they specifically choose to change it.

Sometime in April is what I heard. The new seats were just recently approved, so I think they can begin the installation in the rest of the fleet in a couple more weeks. Not sure where the painting is going to be done. Maybe at the big paint shop down there in MLU or GLH (can't remember which airport it is that paints the NWA DC-9's and A320's).
