I think this is how it will go. You want your regional saved, buck up some equity either in hard assets or stock. Mnuchin is smart and I don’t see him letting these greedy, irresponsible airlines just run free with this. They have brought this on themselves with all the stock buybacks and blowing all their cash. I’m no socialist but if any industry could use a little government ownership its this one.

No, that's not what I said, so please don't try and imply meaning where there is none. It is clear however that the management at these airlines don't like to look far down the road, and put not only us, but entire industries at risk for no reason other than profit. Having the government even to a small degree involved may help stave off some of these more egregious behaviors.

you mean by allowing residents to get on the train to the city? Don’t you think it’s odd that a few weeks after westchester Nyc got hit?

Do you all just sit around and think of ways to misconstrued things? I didn't lose anything, yet nor have I said anything about my gains. All I am stating is there needs to be more oversight of these management teams because they have, throughout history, shown time and time again, they are willing to gamble entire industries for their own gain. This isn't about how they effect me, this is about how they effected everyone from hotel van drivers, hotels, food industries, rampers, gate agents etc etc etc.
Perhaps having big brother own 10% of them may help them think a little more conservatively in the future, not to mention the fact that we are once again bailing them out, with our tax dollars. Since the government is elected by us and we are the ones that will pay for this bailout, we should have a little representation given their track record.
