Here's some facts for you girls, since ya'll were throwing stats around: XJT operates an average of 36,000 flights for CAL on a monthly basis, our controllable completion factor is 99.8% A CRJ200 cannot replace a ERJ145XR on range and payload, hence the denied boardings averaging $70K a month at GSO, SDF, MSP, COS (which went back to XJT), STL, the list goes on and on. CAL wanted to diversified as stated by both Larry and Jeff, and that is the reason why the 69 aircraft were release. Facts nothing but facts, I can't wait to hear the excuses!!! |
I talked to a buddy who was just finishing IOE with CHQ on the CRJ. He said they had 3 aborted TO's in one / four day trip! I don't know why so don't ask.

Realizing this is more of an XJT Circle Jerk then the decimination of any real factual information helps me sleep better at night.
My best friends sisters brothers girlfriends cousins neighbor when they were kids works down the street from a guy who knows this dude who talks to a ramp agent that said CHQ was buying Comair and Mesa is getting 737's. There's about as much factual information in that sentence as there is in the majority of "Rumor" posts you see on this website. When CAL puts out a memo, notice, declaration...or hell, I'll even take a Citabria towing a banner over IAH...that any of what ANYONE has said is actually going to happen, I'll believe it. Until then, I'll accept that XJT guys on here are ****ed at CHQ, want to call us a buncha names and be bitter. Of course...they're ever so friendly when they need a ride home. Have at it boys. |

With all due respect, Sharky- I beg to differ. I'd say the majority of us XJT guys aren't as bitter towards CHQ, as we are CAL. I've met some pretty friendly CHQ crews who made me feel more at home on their CRJ than the CAL crews ever did.
And as for the name calling and stupid comments from some of us on here... I guess you can chalk that up to immaturity. Being on our branded operations side now, I can totally see all the difficulties any new operation would present. So, like I always say.... CHQ got 25% of the CoEx flying, but my commute went from 5 hours to 1!! :D Is this stupid pi$$ing match ever going to end? |
heheh CHQ BLOWS......................just kidding fellas, I may seem like Im angry at CHQ guys, but that would be silly considering they really dont have any say in anything that management decides......................we are all just pilots, whom managements deems abusable, and dispensable..........if anything I think AIRLINE PILOTS anger should be against management who has turned this industry into what it is today, MANAGEMENT laughs at the fact that they have each pilot group ****ing on each other.......for what?????????? so they can have their million dollor bonuses while we look like jackasses flying airplanes around for 20$ an hour:confused:
When contract time comes around dont do what the FRONTIER girls did, and agree to a pay cut when airlines (Except FRONTIER:) )are making more money than they ever have.................. |

Thats a perfect example of what I mean........."FRONTEIR has lost money" and...............why should that be on the pilots back??????? their loss has little if anything to do with the PILOT GROUP, they were not making much money, their salaries is not cause for FRONTIER AIRLINES continuous loss.................... |
