I love almonds. Good for ya...have good natural fat, protein, fiber, etc etc

And there is no such thing as an aphrodisiac. People react differently to different things based on what they associate those activities with.

But I like you sarcasm with the internet thing =)

Yes, Dr. Rat.

Forgot to mention that wonderful drink called "Boost Plus", which caused so much fun in one Christopher Woods. You too can have as much joy and happiness. The drink comes in a can and is easy to carry around.

A handful of almonds a day will lower your cholersterol and reduce the chance of prostate cancer.

I have been bodybuilding/working out since a year before college, so about 7 years....I really think that health and nutrition should be more of a focus with pilots and itd be great if they did what Police and Fire Departments are doing now which is bonuses/incentives for working out and staying healthy ( I know with the pay these days already that this would never happen, but itd be nice), it all plays a part in the human factors side of things....but anyways enough of my rant here's what I pack on an average day of flying the King Air Part 135 Chaaaataaahs...this is usually 1-2 day trips, but are easy to pack stuff(I know some have already been mentioned)....
Breakfast-
-Packet of low sugar oatmeal
-banana
-protein powderpacket (sometimes)
Mid morning snack
-apple or some sort of fruit
-packet of raisins
Lunch
-tuna packet
or
-lean meat sandwich turkey, rst beef, etc.
or
-grilled chicken (as long as oyu have ice packs)
-wheat thins or pretzles
Mid Afternoon snack
-protein bar/power bar ( I think balanc bars are great
Dinner-
Same as lunch pretty much
-Evening snack
-almonds
-cottage cheese (if it stays cold)
-peanut butter and jelly sandwich

These are just a few ideas...I dunno I know its easier on day trip or w only 1 overnight to pack , but I agree with the person that said if the hotel supplies breakfast and fruit..TAKE IT~!!! Hope I helped a little..fly safe everyone!
I follow THE AB'S DIET by Men's Health....there is a lil orange book that tells what is good to eat when you eat out as well. Great for when you are out of food and have to eat out but you want something healthy.

I haven't tried those brands but I agree "MREs" like that are awesome.

Trader Joes has a plethora of such non refrigeration needed foods for trips! http://www.traderjoes.com/
Cheap too. Usually under $2.49 Their green curry tuna, Mexican lentils and Indian eggplant are tasty. $1.69 for 6 cereal bars is a good deal too. The fig bars taste like fig newtons. Instant noodle bowls are good with canned tuna or chicken added. Many noodle & soup dishes as well. Bagged carrots are a good snack and never miss a chance to take the apples from the hotel. If you have a hotplate on the aircraft, to-go foods can be reheated directly on the hotplate. Otherwise a sturdy ziplock immersed in a pot of hot brew water does the trick too. Always carry extra ziplocks as you never know what you may need to pack! One of our hotels has a continental b-fast and a few slices to go with PB & J packets is awesome- unless the bread dries out at altitude. Ya gotta have baggies. You might make a few cents selling some to passengers at security too.

As far as a travel cooler, this one beats ALL others-

Not only does it look great and have a mounting strap on the back but it holds 4 days of food easily. A freezer zip lock bag with ice keeps it cold. Additional storage pockets on the top and front plus two zip out water bottle holders/pockets on the sides. It's well worth the price.

Heck yes. I will always pack what I can for a few good, cheap, healthy meals during a 4-day...I won't be a slave to it, however ;-) Airport food is always there and I'm a PILOT!
