Bankruptcies can void CBAs and you get what the judge lets you keep. You saw how hard the UAL pilots fought against more 76 pax jets.

not quite…bringing all the flying in house would be good for everybody. If the mainline unions gave up scope to save the regionals and got pay bumps to do it, everyone would say “they’re jerks and only care about themselves!” But if they don’t help save the regionals, then “they only care about themselves!”

I don't see how that disputes what I said.

OO just pulled out of 29 cities, citing pilot shortage.

SkyWest in the last 4 years has hired a ton of mid 20’s guys and gals.. Nothing is going to keep them for going to a major or LLC… whats hurting OO is the senior guys bailing at the same time…This is the issue they need to fix.. OO has no shortage of people wanting in the door..

Don't think they can... I helped *another* 15+ year guy leave OO this week. Third one in the last month.

Putin OTH might be able to fix it, for a while at least.

It’s STILL a queuing problem. When people can go to the majors without sitting in the left seat long enough to give the average FO sticking around the 1000 hers of SIC they need to be upgrade eligible, the flying can ONLY contract, because you are left seat limited.

I’m not disputing it, but pointing out that both interests happen to align

Honestly the pay at OO would have been fine if there was some amount of schedule flexibility. However schedules and schedule flexibility seemed to get worse and worse every year despite seniority getting better.
