There is a good description of all the flight crew specific features on the site, of which there are many. That outside compartment is seperated from the main compartments inside. It is designed to carry your walk around items like vests, gloves, hat, flashlight etc. It is also a quick easy spot to drop in water bottles, snacks etc. The cool aspect they added in is that it is seperated from the rest of your clothes so if your walk around is in the rain or snow, your wet stuff will not get the dry stuff inside the main case wet. Same goes for sweating watter bottles. That compartment is not sealed like the main compartment which has a tongue and groove seal that you can spray with a hose and it stays dry. The small compartment is desighned to let wet stuff evaporate.

These guys really put a lot of design work into these for our specific needs.

Absolutly ZERO issues, the wheels are crazy strong. Technically there are 8 total wheels (two per castor), and each one has an independant 2.5" roller bearing on it. Compared that to the LW tiny little bearings.

I just saw they loaded some pics of them the other day. Last I heard is they are like a month out give or take. I have an early prototype flight deck case too. The new ones are even better than the one I have. I love having all my stuff right next to me in the flight deck and protected behind a hardside case.

All these cases were pre-sold to guys at Kalitta Air and just got opened up for sales to the rest the world. Super happy with them.

I second this opinion. I’ve had my Strongbag for a long time and it’s still in perfect shape. My LW bag got destroyed by CRJ overhead bins.

Most transport size freighters have some version of that in the floor to use as a receiver for strap tie-downs. What is on the bag is literally the same thing, made of the same material. The bag hooks you can buy use a simple plunger mechanism (same as a plane would use at the end of the cargo strap) to attach to the rail and you hang your bag there. Much better than a hook like the most common bag uses that has a fabric strap and swings around, stretches, etc etc etc. Photos of the hook and how it attaches at https://paradoxaviationllc.com/produ...ck-accessories
