A transition program can work if pilot demand is high. But you're missing some key experience if you skip the CFI and/or night freight flying.
Some flight schools like my alma mater require the CFI and CFII course to complete the program. Not all of them however require that, and hence the term "pilot mill". No II, no degree, as it should be. When I finished the program all the ratings cost me less than part 61, however I believe that has changed...They have added a CRJ course which is garbage..I wasnt requierd to do as per the college catalog, which is good since I fly a Saab.
