Whats the chances of s decent paygrade for the continuing years? The first year pay may be low because its a startup, but it is disconcerting to think that that might be setting a precedent.
No flowthrough either? Been hearing rumours of being 'not-as preferred' if you want to apply at Frontier later after having worked for Lynx?
Sigh...there bursts another bubble

like the mins, although i don't know if they'll be able to put enough butts in the seats...but if they take it slow, they might find enough people willing to do it...But w/ minimums that high, i'd expect a slightly higher first year pay to really be "competitive"

Any startup is a risky career move for anybody with some time...I'd expect only low-timers to take the chance (aside from street-captains, of course). Those min's will have to be lowered. My best guess is that those are just "published" and actual hiring will be at more realistic numbers...

actually, i'd kinda wonder if a lot of initials would be looking at Lynx. startup operations typically attract higher time pilots who are looking to get in on the ground floor of a company, establish some good senority and achieve a decent schedule...but i guess i'd see that more w/ say Compass (which seems more like it's in an identity crisis between a regional and a jetblue) but who knows, maybe it'd work here as well.

Just wanted to let everyone know about my experience with Lynx.
Because I live in Denver and prefer not to commute, I decided to submit a resume through one of the sources mentioned earlier. I was contacted within a week, interviewed the following week, and offered a job within the timeline also mentioned in a previous post.
Everyone I met at Lynx was nice, enthusiastic, professional and generally made the experience enjoyable. Some of the staff come from Frontier, a company with good morale (at least from the point of view of the pilots I know). So it stands to reason that the company culture of Lynx would be similar to Frontier.
Other pilots who interviewed had a decent amount of time and experience, it might be a QOL choice for these applicant who had prior 121 experience. The pay issue was addressed, with so many items to be acomplished to get the company operational, it will be evaluated in time.
As for the rumors, I accepted the job and don't have a crystal ball telling me the future. The Frontier pilots I know have not expressed to me any concern about Lynx, only optimism, so I'm not sure where the rumors started.
I think Lynx is a good bet.

LOL! Are they kidding!!! That is too funny! I say Good Luck!
Not sure Frontier/Lynx is the place to be. . . .
1)CEO resigning,
2)shortfall on earnings,
3)competition fierce with UAL and SWA.
4)slowing growth on the A319 side.
5)few markets to expand into that they can gain a competitive advantage
6)potential takeover candidate
7)without Frontier Lynx doesn't exist
