Default RAH mins?

Hi everyone, sorry if this has already been posted. I see that RAH's posted mins are 1000/100, but are those firm? I know a guy that was just hired with ~670/130 who wasn't an intern, so I'm not exactly sure how he got in. I'm at 770/180 currently...any chance of getting on with them?

we have many people here at RAH who were hired below the posted 1000/100 mins for a couple of reasons. There are "bridge" programs with ATP that allow ATP instructors to be hired with as little as 500 TT. Also, many people go to TSA or Mesa with very low time and, after getting the type rating in the ERJ, come over here to collect the 2500 dollar bonus and get hired below mins. If you have an ERJ SIC Type, RAH will hire you regardless of your time.

Hmm, well, neither applies to the guy I know with 670TT. He was an instructor for ERAU-PRC (as am I), so I wonder if RAH has some kind of agreement with us that I don't know about? Strange.

If you have your MEI you shouldn't have any problem. If not submit anyway. We needed pilots yesterday.

I sent in an application and got an e-mail in late April stating that the FO position has been filled. Then got an e-mail in the beginning of June that said it was a mistake and that I should reaaply.

I have not reapplied. If they really wanted me there, they would have kept my info. I can be somewhat particular right now. If they messed up they should fix it, not just send an e-mail telling me to fix what they messed up.

I will not give in!

Unless you're sitting at another company like XJT or SKW I wouldn't play the snob just yet.

Is the MEI the kicker, or do you still need the 100 multi regardless of total time?

get used to it, thats about how things are ran over here, its a Total Cluster cant remember the last word! If i were you, i would just send resumes to [email protected], and get their fax number from republicairways.com, thats what I did, two different people called me in the same day for an interview and then they asked me to fill out the online application, i told them i already had and they were like, "ok see you on friday"
