Thanks BlueMoon. Five years here and I forget that one every time.

Table A for reserves is based on "off days" so that stays the same.

Table B for lineholders is for 31-day months. So lineholding furloughs (if there are any) would have to go to Table A - 30 day months.

So it simplifies to this... reserves and lineholders bid for 6 days off in January plus the 13 days of furlough.

Plus 4 on ML (military leave).

Those guys probably went back to Iraq because the QOL is better than Comair.

I'm JFK based and live in Florida soon to be furloughed. How do you collect unemployment in NY and live if Florida. Please let me know.

When you contact the State to set up your unemployment claims, one of the questions they ask is about if you traveled to/from work, and which State it was in. Once you answer, they'll contact NY to verify you can claim there. I have the option to claim in NY, it is a little less money -surprisingly-, but there are better benefits there.

I'm trying to get the WIA type rating as well. My state claims all the funding for WIA was spent months ago, and the only funding they can provide is for nursing students.

How do we claim WIA funds in NY if we worked there? Anybody know?
