I'm not really looking for a job right now. I signed up just because I was curious about the website. I'm leaving for the Air Force later this spring..I got a pilot slot.

Question 2. How much sick time is 1 day of reserve?
I believe 4 hours. Could be wrong though.

Not counting on the Mesa/DAL thing too much. When I talked to JB, he stated he sees none of that flying going to Comair and he said he would not be surprised if most of it is just dropped by DAL.
I live in Punta Gorda, FL. Slim pickens on jobs down there. I drove tractor trailer for 17 years and have been applying for driving jobs (as well as flying jobs) but there are really no local jobs around.

That's because -333 is halfway to -666.

At least it's up to -114% now.

Here's the story. So does this mean Shrinkair is soon to follow? Hopefully, you guys won't be flying bareback much longer.

As time goes on the more I feel there is a merger in the works. Of course less aircraft means less employees. I and others that I talk with, agree that the company is getting rid of a lot of senior employees to make it easier for seniority integration during a merger. Mesaba and Compass have a pretty junior employee group minus those at Mesaba who weathered their trip through Ch.11. Just something to think about.
