we may not get any flying but it may stop the bleeding for a while. Look at it this way. Freedom does everything from

JFK-
ROC 3 a day
BTV 3 a day
PWM 4 a day

There is a couple other cities like that as well.

Alot of those flights may go away but I doubt they will drop the city pairs all together. So if delta does win they may start pulling service down a bit but someone will have to cover 1 or 2 a day to PWM instead of 4.

So hopefully it will just stop the bleeding a bit.

Woooo hooo! My ex-manager did me eval. Thank god he came through. Now lets see if I can withstand the next round of cuts. I was able to get some intel from the upper chain this morning. Last round of cuts wasn't enough (Duh!) and Ng4 thinks this next round will get us under other DCI competitors costs, which will get us some aircraft back and get some pilots and FA's off the street. Don't know where they plan on getting aircarft from unless Delta has somehting up their sleeve. Of course I spit out the Comair kool-aide into the nearest waste bin as soon as I left the room to minimize the effects!

Will we actually find a result today from the mesa lawsuit? Or is today just the start?

Great news on your eval Bubba!

If we cut more, then bring back some people, wouldn't that put us right back where we started?

From what I hear, other airlines are looking on to see what happens with this. United, USAIR and others. If Delta prevails, they will (supposedly) pull thier contracts with Mesa and put out RFP's for others to pick up the slack.

I understand United was set to award thier RFP to Comair, but the Mesa suit put everything on hold for now.

Today is just Delta's appeal to the injunction filed by Mesa. If Delta doesn't win their appeal, it will go to trial... which I'm sure wont be for another 6 mos to a year... and you can bet JO will string it out as long as he can. If DL doesn't win today, don't count on Mesa going away anytime soon.

Would everyone please stop with the United flying BS! If we're too expensive for Delta to use, why would United use us?
