My guess is 100 furloughs for the fall. Contributing factors: Mesa won the injunction appeal, fall pull-down domestically will probably have to be somewhat proportional to the international pull-down.... my guess is an additional 5-10% less flying than the normal autumn pull down.

Who the hell is Mark Berner? And why is he on the seniority list at the bottom but not furloughed?

Wow... I moved up almost 80 spots.

Unfortunately, he is a management pilot. Manager of Corporate Safety (I think), who just happens to be a line pilot. He still has a job as management, but as far as I know, since his seniority can not hold a line pilot position, he can not go out and fly.

Ok... I thought for a second that he was flying whenever he wanted much like the CP's do. Good to know.

Well, I guess that means they don't need to furlough anymore, then. Right? Seems natural attrition and that not-so-lucrative buyout took care of any staffing problems.

Wait. I forgot this is Comair we are talking about. Nevermind.

Was it 2003 that Comair was named "Best Managed Regional Airline"? So in about 6 years, they have gone from Best Managed to crap. Wow!

Way to squander it all away boys!

This is not the "Price is Right". Do your own scientific conclussions, reach down and pull a number out of ass -much like the rest of us-.
Btw, if it's got an alcohol content, I'll drink it.

Amazing. When I started out 4 years ago, I was number 1800 something, now I have moved up half the list, yet I am still just as far from the bottom. How does that work? Way to go Comair!!

If you are curious...on Epic. Go to Crewmember Services -> Crewmember Seniority List
It is pretty depressing...

I'm still waiting to hear something on the application I put in for a manager at McDonalds. Same pay, better health bennies, and tuition reimbursement.

A buddy of mine was displaced from a 4 day trip about 3 months ago, maybe 4, so this "Mr. Burner" could do IOE on the 50. I was curious at the time why even a management pilot would need to do IOE if he didn't have the seniority to be on line.
