I did a little research and found

Delta says the new route is part of the airlines ongoing strategy to connect top business markets to St. Louis.
Schedule:

4433*** St. Louis at 5:30 p.m.******************** Raleigh-Durham at 8:30 p.m.
6794*** Raleigh-Durham at 10:20 a.m.*** St. Louis at 11:47 a.m.
4433*** Raleigh-Durham at 3:30 p.m.***** St. Louis at 4:45 p.m.

Flights will be operated by Delta Connection carriers Comair and Pinnacle.
*
The new flight is the third market Delta has added in St. Louis in recent months, with recently-announced new service to New York-LaGuardia and Washington Reagan National Airport.
*
This fall, Delta will operate 41 peak-day flights at Lambert Field to 10 destinations, with nonstop service to Atlanta; Cincinnati; Washington, D.C.; Detroit; New York-LaGuardia; New York-JFK; Memphis; Minneapolis-St. Paul; Raleigh-Durham and Salt Lake City.

UHOH, political stuff...right here on APF!
Ya...I'm sure a guy like "Tink" who's on, what..his 3rd tour really needs to hear your words of wisdom or take advice on why he's there from tools like you! Have some respect for people who literally stick their life out on the line for your freedoms!! Have you ever hung it out that far for anything more than a good time?

It's like the stark contrast between flying soldier passengers and those going on Spring Break. Both groups are roughly the same age, but the difference in demeanor and respect are worlds apart. Let me guess which group you fall under? UFB!!!!!

I would expect Comair to get a fair amount of this flying. We are reopening a MX base in RDU!

Interesting Mosquito,
What's this about CRJ-100's though? Does anybody fly those in the DCI system?

Also...beefing up STL (going after the market of AA/TWA)? Didn't TSH (St. Louis based) just acquire CPZ and their E-175's with a 10 year DAL contract?

Sure! The source were the GSO MX guys who got displaced out of RDU when the maintenance base closed the first time. A few of the guys said they were bidding back.

Of course, this could be wrong. If we can get Bubba to chime in, he could confirm or deny.....

You should learn who you comment on before commenting on anything. I served in the USMC, during the Iran-Contra thing in Nicaragua, during Desert Shield, and during Desert Storm. I think I DO have a right to comment. As a Marine (there are no Ex-Marines), I fully support our troops. As when I served, the current troops have no say in where they serve our Country. They are told where to go and what to do, by a government that is sometimes lead by people that have a personal or political agenda. As Marines, Soldiers, Seamen, and Airmen, we take an oath to protect our Country and SUPPORT the actions of our government. We do this, even though we sometimes do not believe it to be the right thing.
