Make that 15,000. Comair has that going for it at least.

Anybody with any info on nice neighborhoods to raise a family in the GSO airport area?
Is HMV overstaffed? If so then it would behoove those excess individuals to really think hard about weather they want to be on the street or either commute to DAY or move to GSO. DAY only has a night shift that comes in at 21:00. Can the company displace you guys like they do the pilots? I mean if the company is going foot the move bill...go for it. I've been preparing myself for a possible move to MSP. I just have a feeling deep down that some changes are coming down the road. Don't know when, but they're coming. I've already put in for a job at Delta buying GSE for ACS(Customer Service). Still waiting to hear on that one. Of course it's down in ATL.

I would hate to have a V1 cut in that thing.

What are the chances that operation conforms to AC 120-91?

I see IL-76's here in the Middle East all the time. I'd say the chances are -168,914 in 10,000,000. Where I fly, it's hot and high and they take ALL of 3,000 meters to get airborne with all 4 engines screaming.

I'd rather crawl across the desert than go for a ride in one of those C-141 wannabes.

Anyone think the new duty regs on the horizon will cancel this round of furloughs?

I'm guessing probably not. If the company finds themselves in a very understaffed situation, I'm sure a quick phone call to Atlanta will fix all that, as Delta will just adjust our flying accordingly. For the sake of the guys who are due to be furloughed next, I hope this is not the case.
