Comair updates?
Not doom and gloom but I've been waiting for that. Seems logical that when they finally close CVG as a base they can close Comair's doors the same day. Freedom and Comair can be the last ones to land at the closing base before they are no longer part of Delta.
Sometime next year. Most likely the spring/summer 2010 schedule. They had a meeting up in JFK. One of the pilots on the Delta thread took notes and posted them on their thread. Lots of interesting stuff going on. I'm also taking a guess that it might also have to do with the runway constuction, since the airlines are reducing slots. The FAA also put a moretorium on the minimun slot rule, to take effect from March till November, so that airlines won't loose their slots if they go below the minimum active slots.

Bubba! Are you going to Vegas? I'm debating if I should make an appearance. I can't decide.

Comair flying mostly out of CVG? If the first statement is true, this statement must also be true.
Do not assume that the JFK crews will be transferred back to CVG.
Note that both statements could be true without a single Comair flight coming back to CVG.
Of course that would be bad news and break Comair's 10-year good news streak.
I saw that RA mentioned something to effect of the relationship with RAH not lasting much longer...curious what means??
Yes. I'mon the last nonstop from CVG on Sunday after work. It looks good if you go through SLC. I bought a family fare ticket oou there for $89.00 and I'll nonrev back on Wednesday since I don't have to work till Saturday. You should come out and party.
I'm also curious if any of RAH's mainline customers are going to continue subsidizing a competitor. I say no. "Butt" if you look at what Delta uses to think with, well,.......
