Every other part of Comair's operation will be shut down before the flight crews notice anything. It only makes sense. They have to keep you guys flying until they are ready to make a move, but they want to make sure everything else is already taken care of. They will probably ask you to hit the swith on your way out.

Republic seems to have all the money in the world. I mean, they have pretty much bought everything out there. Watch them move frontier, or lynx to CVG, or not move it, but expand them once things turn around.

Looks like more bad news coming for Comair. Read the "Delta 3rd quarter loss" thread about the quarterly results. Apparently RA says another 100 50-seaters leaving DCI in 2010. Coming from a mix of wholly-owned and contract carriers. Shocking!!!

Delta recorded special charges totaling $24 million in the September 2008 quarter, including:

A $14 million charge for early termination fees under contract carrier arrangements;
$7 million in merger-related expenses; and

A $3 million net charge primarily for facilities restructuring and severance.

Did Delta pay Mesa $14,000,000
