You're right, it didn't say anything about a 2005 seniority date. However, if you add up the crews as someone did a few pages back you will come up with 1060 pilots. That is a 2005 hire date. Keep in mind that your math works out for the current furloughs and downgrades. However, Delta put out an article today in the paper saying that Comair was going to furlough 150 more pilots in January. As of right now Comair has only talked about 92. The cuts are going to keep coming. A buddy of mine talked to RP and he said that the numbers in the memo as far as crews go are based on the total number of pilots on the seniority list including guys on medical and military leave etc. and that they are based on X number of Captains needed and X number of FO's, but there will be more need for Captains than FOs. I take that as they are planning to downgrade even more Captains which is why they wouldn't need as many FOs.

Woah Woah, slow down there killer. As cool as she is you do realize that usually requires some cash (i.e. being employed) on hand to blow on a party and A doesn't seem like the "get married while drunk in Vegas" kind of gal. Of course then again I guess that is what a dowry is for. Never mind, carry on.

Sorry Andy. Your post was over my 2 sentence ADHD limit. I got the mental triple chime and had to load shed it.

Gonna marry this one?? Did I not teach you anything when you flew with me? LOL! And oh, for the record...I didn't get my invite either!
Congrats and I wish you the best. The latest displacement did put me back in the right seat unfortunately, so Fed Ex sounds great....see you there...LOL! Keep in touch.

Geez, I remember when CVG had 35,000+ block hours. Sad to see what Delta continues to do to a once great airline. Hard to believe that as an (ex) late 1999 hire I would barely hold Captain after this next round. This industry....

Just talked to my good friend who is a Crj 700/900 fo with Comair and he got bumped to ready reserve and got his furlough notice and his last day is FEB 19th. I feel bad for him cuz he has a wife and two kids. Right now he and I are working together to try to find him another job. He is thinking overseas for a flying job. Best of luck to everyone that is on or going to be furloughed hope everything will workout trying to find another job.
