Rumor update:

Over 200 employees in C/S that have worked overtime have not been paid for it, Company claims it's their fault - they have also "lost" the time sheet that prooves those people ought to be paid.

Comair to offer buyouts to ALL employees.

No flight sced. past March, is this just they are late in terms of posting it or
something else?

Bubba since they are getting rid of the 50's any other rumors you have heard about the fleet? Still forecasting a drop to 80 A/C.

Everyone watch your time sheets, just got my direct deposit and I was SHORTED/ NOT PAID FOR OVERTIME!!!

all:

There is some fat assed white haired Cvg captain that picked up open time. Didn't see his name tag, just heard him talk about how lucky he was to pick this trip out of open time. If anyone knows who he is please show him how much you dislike this. What a tool.

Do you think they will offer buyouts to Union groups too? Typically that doesn't include any of the unionized groups. If it does it is probably something like a weeks worth of pay for each year of service (Which is absolute CRAP.)

Which flight schedule do you speak of. Are you looking at it through deltanet?

Comair will have to pay it's employees for the time they worked. If not there will be a lawsuit. The pilots can check their pay sheets, but I am not sure about other departments.

As far as buyouts it's usually for non union employees, since there are no contract issues to deal with. With Mesba mx to begin full swing next month I really don't think they'll offer any to the IAM. Mesaba loves our mx so much that they'll ferry an aircraft down here for us to fix! I guess Mesaba doesn't want to fork the money over to send their top mechs to Bombardier for training. They're really clueless about CRJ mx. I mean they're used to Saabs and Avro's, then all fo a sudden they dump a gazillion -200/-900s on them.

Still going to 80 aircraft as far as I know. Delta has yet to release the spring schedule past March. Though I've heard that ASA and SkyWest are going to take a hit this time as well. Though I know NWA is ramping up DC-9 training.

I heard to everyone. The pay issue is still being worked out, but they are making progress on recitfying the situation. Looks like I will be compensated along with 200+ other folks. I heard the pilots are not to expect a call back till 2010, more furloughs for now, unless Delta beats Mesa in January. At this point, however, I doubt Comair will get that flying with the state of the economy. Believe me, those of us pilots (5) working in other capacities for Comair have looked elswhere, the job market for pilots is suffering from a severe case of CONSTIPATION AND INDEGESTION + RUNS.(family guy)

Flight sced was told to me by a guy I was riding the bus with from the employee lot who has a buddy who works at the G.O. whose job is getting, er ahhhhhhhhh right sized (eliminated).

2010 will be just fine... just dont let my damn ATP written expire..... Anyone know what would happen if you get furloughed, get recalled, but are in the military (basically active duty) could you take your recall, and go on ML, even though you didnt have ML status before you were furloughed? I mean there is no way they couldnt take you back.......

I witnessed a Captain over in Concourse A ops on the phone with scheduling trying to pick up "extra flying"on the 23rd. Scheduling shot him down. Unfortunately, I had to run and catch a flight home, so I was not able to speak with him--a nasty look had to suffice......
