Comair updates?
The "Comair" ground crew is no longer in TYS. It's all DAL guys now... so I'm guessing the accident may have involved a less experienced worker?

Good post turbodog.
With the way the economy is going these days, most businesses (airlines) are cutting a lot of corners. Pilot pay is only one method management is trying to squeeze every dollor out of the operating cost. Skimping parts, understaffed mx departments, work arounds, etc.. all lead to less than desirable airplanes. Is it just my imigination or has there been an extra rash of mishaps in the industry lately.
Remember, the guys/gals in the front seat are always the first ones to show up at the accident scene.

Nope, it's still Comair. I just talked to the station manager the other day when we needed to get a payback SFCU sent COMAT to CVG from Pinnacle's partsroom there in TYS. We handle all Delta and as of last month we started doing above and below wing for United Express. DGS is there, but they handle someone else.

So Comair/ALPA has hired a Merger Law Firm. Whom are they going to merge with? And, is it best for Comair and the other Company overall? If ALPA also represents the other company when it comes to the seniority list, which one of the companies is going have the best representation on their behalf? Is there a conflict of interest since ALPA either way will benefit?
Today, it seems that only prostitutes are hired not the high-end escorts. If you can pay less and get the same "job" done, then as far as whom a business is going to hire, it will always be the prostitutes. It's only a matter of time before companies like Freedom/Mesa rule if people are willing to give away their services cheaply.
