what is the reduction in flying all about?? they don't tell us much out here in jfk.....either that or just don't listen! the last time i talked to bid production/ forecasting and planning they said expect some big upgrades in the spring.

is there any info about being sold? does anyone know if/when there will be announcements about it?

I know you all probably didn't see the 70 FO bid for Feb but it is up about 750 hours of flying for FEB. They are junior manning 70 Captains now and the Min coverage for 70 FOs is all red. Now while I know that this doesn't effect you at FO's at JFK but if you look at the big picture overall we are not fat on pilots. Jan is a slow month and the word is training will pick back up soon. So don't be all doom and gloom, Comair is probably letting a little of the dust settle to see where we stand right now.

There are job cuts coming at least in the mx department that I know of. From what I'm hearing, ol Jonny basically said "you make the cuts or I will" and we won't like it if he has to cut.

The final curtain for a once great airline, man I hate to hear that about Comair. I hope it works out for everyone involved, how sad.

You say that like they are closing the doors by the end of the week. In case anyone hasn't noticed, NOTHING HAS HAPPENED. Yet.
