So what he really means is an announcement for another round of downgrades and furloughs... preferably the day before Christmas like they did with the last set of furloughs the day before Thanksgiving. Then, OH will be running at bare bone minimum staffing levels.... just the way they like it.

Does anyone remember the union ever mentioning the upcoming 92 furloughs? The last email just said that its going to be hard to switch terminals.

No, but I'm impressed every VARS message starts with "We currently have 206 of our brothers and sisters on furlough. Our thoughts are with you as we fly the line." That's good enough for me. I guess they can just change the number to 298 when the other 92 hit the street.

Yeah, its real heartwarming to see them cut and paste that into every email, but do nothing to fix it.

Instead of meeting with management to discuss the stupid move from concourse C to A, they should be discussing the furloughs. All I know is, the next few weeks should be fun. Staffing levels, weather, switching to TLR and moving concourses. I know I will give a 100% every week. 5% on Mondays, 15% on Tuesdays, -22% on Wednesdays and I probably won't give a crap after that anymore.

Okay, this is not official, but came down via my manager, so as of now it is a mx rumor. I was told the number of 50 seaters would be going down to 50 in the near future.

I believe it, frankly. Keep us posted Bubba, thanks.

What's our current 50 seat airplane count? How many are we talking about losing?

Didn't someone mention a few pages back a rumor about 80 airplanes. If we go down to 50 of the CRJs and keep the 70s and 90s, doesn't that equal 80, or damn near it?
