Comair updates?
I know it was posted a few pages ago, but if anyone has any information on the latest MV/LOE, the information would be greatly appreciated. I have Bill M for my LOE; does anyone know anything about him? Please PM me or post.

Just got the email from the MEC that the ALPA web boards are back up. I think it would be a good idea if we keep all speculation and rumors off of that board as we know management will be reading and it will just make them feel better hearing how miserable everyone is. Not that they can't read it right here though.

Do you think Management doesn't read this board?
SB was in RG the other day, telling guys that CMR would soon be down to 800 pilots. But others in the company dispute that number.
We're at 120 aircraft by the end of this year. Lease returns for next year will take us down to 113. After the January furloughs, I think we're down to 1150-ish pilots. Not sure how many crews we staff per airplane, but losing 7 aircraft would probably translate to 75-100 pilots. So, in 2009, I would not be surprised to shrink to 1000-ish pilots total.
Losing 50 airframes sounds awfully extreme, and regardless would take us below the min fleet guarantee. Not saying it's not possible, but just thought I'd inject a little reality into the rumor mill....
