Comair continues to fade away
By James Pilcher • [email protected] • October 16, 2009
In the past 10 years, Comair has gone from a homegrown success story to a barely recognizable name, at least in national aviation circles.
Once the center of the domestic regional airline industry, the Erlanger-based airline is now struggling to keep its market share - all the while seeing parts shipped to other subsidiaries or to other airports by corporate owner Delta Air Lines.

Thanks for the article!
I remember as a kid hopping on the EMB-120 to go see my Dad up in Cleveland. I did it every couple of weeks. It was too easy to grab a "Weekend Traveler" booklet and be off like a heard of turtles.
It's too bad that Delta will do what it does best to the local community that it serves. They would rather dwindle Comair into a distant memory than to let it go and let someone else make something of it. What a shame....
If Comic Book Guy was a pilot for Comair.
If you look at the article, when an aviation consultant all but tells you they expect Comair to fade or just kind of hint around to it, it's time to look elsewhere for a living. I wish Delta wouldhave never brought Comair, the saying if you can't beat your competition buy them- that's what Delta did -is true.
Man I hate what this is more than likely going to come to- but then again things could change- I think NOT!
Bubba, were you hinting to us when you posted that article?

I'm coming to the fork in the road as to where Comair and my self are both going. I'm not total sure just yet. Oh well I leave this behind for a couple nights of fun in Vegas.

The song that plays around the 3 minute mark is what I can hear at OH.
