There is no option right now for anyone jumping ship. Where are we to go?

No I am not saying that for sure. I hope for the guys at Comair that will happen. I don't want to see anyone lose their job. But, I am saying I hope you guys will merge. Just like the post before yours said, Delta Hates Comair Pilots. Period. This has been a known fact for a long time. However, I have stated before, Comair will no longer be in business before the end of this year. This is a reply to STINKY..

Well, you can try all you want, but the DAL guys are so against the comair guys. I am a former NWA guy plus from Comair, I basically am the worst guy they could work with. So, try for DAL, be prepared for a reject and go with CAL or somewhere...

Even if you weren't there during the strike and hired after they got out of bankruptcy your chances with Delta are zip. Thats hard for me to believe.

Well, I was there during all that and they cant stand me and pilots never forget. So, if I wanted to leave there, I would apply but expect not to get hired.

I know several pilots, who now work for the new DAL, that came from Comair. They were all there when the strike/bankruptcy went down. Why would you post something like this? This is so far from the truth and purely opinion.

Thanks for the update, Trailblazer. Keep them coming so I can plan accordingly.

That is basically correct.

Historical at Comair is roughly 11 pilots per airframe.

At 98 airframes, that's 1050-1100 pilots, so at most maybe another 50 or so after these two classes of recalls.

After that it's just attrition, and with all the Comair guys leaving for Delta, the attrition number will be approximately two per year.

How many 50s are we scheduled to park in the next four years - all of them?

So if the former DAL guys hate former NWA guys and Comair guys, how do the former NWA guys feel about Comair guys?

Do the former Delta guys do all the hiring, or are there some former NWA guys in that department?
