So, a flight attendant told me that D.S. And a FA manager are in Jfk today. Any truth to this, or is it just a F.A. Rumour?

Please help me understand why would DS and FA manager being at JFK is a big deal! The might at JFK to motivate the troops

It might be a big deal, it might not. However, I've heard rumors that Jfk will be closing in August.

Monday*- Friday: Employee recognition by officers and directors, visiting various locations and departments for informal discussions, food events and giveaways

Pizza and drinks at JFK today. DS is not at JFK to announce the base will be closed. Don't get me wrong, JFK could close as base in Agust, anything is possible.

A friend of mine who was in JFK today, heard SB tell people that yes, JFK is closing as a base at the end of the summer. I guess DL's plans for a T2 and T3 redo are in full swing.

I think the answer to your question varies day to day. I'm going to bite my tongue until a memo comes out on epic-- of course, once the memo comes out, the answer will most likely still change.

Well then, if SB said so then it HAS to be true, right? That's why I am flying around CRJ-700s in United Express colors operated by Comair with EFBs on board based out of Chicago and no pilots on furlough and a BOS base doing DL flying in brand new CRJ-900s with ACARS and EFBs.

That's what SB told me!

He said DTW. Plans are still evolving since the Mesa trial ended. Said it was a done deal until that threw a wrench into things. It was also mentioned that Delta asked us about doing some extra flying and Comair is probably gonna say no because it will take too long to retrain furloughs. I had to leave so that's all I got. I can't believe we have 300 furloughs and we keep turning down flying!!!!
