Comair updates?
man i don't care where comair goes or what happens just as long as it isn't before Ive had a chance to get back in the seat, get current, and build a few more hours to be a bit more competitive when job hunting. otherwise ill never be able to afford aviation again and the dream will be lost.

jeez... makes me feel good about starting with only 500 with like 110ish multi... looks like all my college buddies are gonna be waiting a loooong time before joining me...
My guess would be that that photo was taken sometime around late march/early april 2001 to have that many CMR planes lined up with that old of a livery

Either this story is made up, or the lady "upgrading" is misinformed. Hiring in October/November? ***?

I was thinking it was dated 10 or so years ago but instead it was.....By Paul Templeton on August 5, 2010 2:58 PM . Maybe she was cleaning out her emails and found it and published it with a current date.

Goodness, I feel old. That photo was indeed taken during the pilot strike during 2001. The planes are lined up on the south side of Concourse C facing north on the south side of the ramp. That was the one time we actually had the airplanes washed by maintenance. Twice acutally. They quick washed them all and then when we stayed on strike they washed and polished them all again to give them something to do.
Best of luck to all you guys and gals at Comair now. Hope you are all able to make the best of a messed up situation. It always was "interesting" around CVG.
