Really? Wow. We had to have it in 06-07. But then again, they hired people with 230 hours in 08.

There's still a dream?
Back in seat - check
Current - check
Built more jet hours since recall- check
Total Time almost 5000 - check
Number of airlines/flight depts. that called me during 1.5 years furloughed - 0
Number of airlines/flight depts. that called me since I've been back - 0
The dream? I dunno know....seems like just that, a dream.

Yep, ran into a guy that started with 232 TT. In my best Chris Griffin voice, I said, "Whaaaaaaaaaaaat????"

But that many Comair planes lined up in one place?

It was probably taken last week in a desert somewhere.
My guess would be that that photo was taken sometime around late march/early april 2001 to have that many CMR planes lined up with that old of a livery

I sent Mr Templeton some more accurate facts, though i doubt they will be making any story revisions. it is a "for-profit" institution and the facts are still more depressing than that story makes it out to be.

Goodness, I feel old. That photo was indeed taken during the pilot strike during 2001. The planes are lined up on the south side of Concourse C facing north on the south side of the ramp. That was the one time we actually had the airplanes washed by maintenance. Twice acutally. They quick washed them all and then when we stayed on strike they washed and polished them all again to give them something to do.

Best of luck to all you guys and gals at Comair now. Hope you are all able to make the best of a messed up situation. It always was "interesting" around CVG.

Regards,

Good Morning, and welcome to Tuesday! What does Tuesday have in store for us? I will contemplate this on RR #3 for the month (only 3 more to go!). Don't let me get bored....come on you rumor makers.....spin your yarns and use those fortune telling skills!

It would be nice if the announcement is that they will recall everybody back. But we have to wait and see.
