Good luck to everyone.
Cra**y news, guys. Not only are airframes going away, but for those fortunate enough to stick around, it looks like paycuts are in order. The silver lining--if any--is that several airlines are going to be hiring over the next year while all this is going down. Best of luck.

Do what you need to do and don't fly unfit for duty. It won't do anyone any good.

Good luck to all my former comair friends.

According to my Nurse wife and the Dr she works for, I'm running a high temp and just caught some sort of virus.

Going with the 450 pilot model:

Most junior Captain (reserve DTW?) = August 1990 DOH
Most junior FO / Displaced Captain = June 1999 DOH

[QUOTE=squaretail;864118]I would think they would make the cuts quickly rather than over a two year period if that were the case.

They will have flying still to cover as they draw down.

If Comair is down to 450 pilots..the 450th guy is June of 99 hire.

Every single FO on the list is gone, aside the 20 super senior ones in the top 450..that airline is going to be a mess..NONE of those captains have been FOs for a looooong time
