Comair updates?
Guys/Girls at Comair:
I've been at Eagle since 04, and you guys have helped me get to work countless times and gone the extra mile. Comair was my first choice airline back in 2002 when I got out of school. I was in Dallas last week and spoke to a few in management, putting in a great word for the people of Comair.
The industry sucks and I've heard Comair's workforce will be slashed. I'd be glad to speak to any Comair pilot/FA, agent etc. should they be interested in joining Eagle if the time comes. New York is going junior to FO's, with your CRJ time your resumes will be very competitive. We may be hiring quite a few next year. PM me if you have questions about us, we'd love to have you. I know it's either a lateral move or in some cases a step backwards, but we do have a good benefits and travel package, no more being behind Delta parents on the list etc. Thanks for getting me and my buddies to work over the years. Good luck.

Just adding some fuel to the fire, if you this that the fleet reducation is a ploy here is some ammo News Headlines
"Delta says it plans to cut debt through a variety of means, such as buying some of the aircraft it currently is leasing and buying back senior notes ahead of schedule.
Company Treasurer Paul Jacobson said the debt-reduction initiatives this year should cut Delta's annual expenses by $125 million. However, they'll also result in a one-time charge of $350 million in the third quarter associated with a non-cash loss on the cutting of debt."

Did you guys see who is running for CPT REP ? You might keep in mind that the two most senior candidates LN & JO have vocally advocated for concessions in the past and present – they fear for their jobs. The other two SL & DS have not. Don’t let these guys drive this industry backwards – ask them if you don’t believe me, look at their post on the ALPA msg boards.
Good luck to us all if they get in…..

Yeah because having an industry leading contract hasn't led to being undercut for the last 10 year.

This pilot group is taking a pay cut oneway or the other.
Chow - I'm right there with you back to right seat, soon on the street.... but what I won't do is be part of driving this career further down the tube. That's why I'm giving the heads up on these two individuals, so maybe our vote might make a difference if not here at Comair at least somewhere else...
