Well as of 10:36 CDT, the last chapter has been written and the book is now closed.
It has been a pleasure to know all of you and just b.s. about the company here as well as over some cold ones with a few of you. Out of the four airlines I've worked for; Comair was by far the best. It was like a close nit and somewhat dis-functional at times, family! Have many fond memories that will remain with me for the rest of my life. Good luck to all of you!

As a Comair furlough from 2008, I watched this thread intently. I wasn't part of Comair very long, but thanks to the great instructors/captains that got me through training and taught me how to fly a jet. Whenever I'm asked what my background is, I'm proud to say I was at Comair. Hope the best for everyone.

Blue Skies and Tailwinds to the Comair family. I wish you all the best of luck in your future endeavors. You were always accomodating and friendly when I needed a ride home. Professionals until the end.
This is a little off subject...
One of our own, Capt. Andy Frey passed away early last month in ROA. He flew at Mesaba and Comair after flying in the Army. He was with the FAA in STL. I found this out from one of our former F/As who was in CVG for the last CVG arrival. I saw the obituary this morning. He was 43 and is survived by two children, a sister and his father.
Sadly, he flew west before Comair did.
