For the Comair pilots and FAs, I've said this before, but you've treated me very well in the concourses and in the jumpseat...and shoot, even riding in the back. This couldn't have happened to a nicer bunch.

I wish I was in a position to offer you something more tangible to help you out during this time, but I really don't know that I can (other than a beer).

The beer offer is good, by the way.

Have they fixed the pay issue for all the emplyees? Delta said they wouldn't cut checks until PNC fixed the problem after getting hacked.

As will JC I suspect...Best to all of CMR, from a commuter's perspective the pilots (and FA's) remained professional to the end. They say it is darkest just before dawn, fight on!

I haven't been at Comair in a long while.... but spamming anyone and everyone linked to Comair to try to make a buck on a useless type rating? I am sure guys who are hustling to make ends meet now are in a great spot to buy a type rating.

By the way. I saw on here that some recently asked about the refund of the Merger Assessment. I posted an email from the MEC that I received after inquiring directly to him.

The answer was YES the money gets refunded. But, there was a ton of Accounting requirements to be accomplished. A TON.

The best guess is that it would be Christmas at the earliest that we would see the money and that we would get approximately $230 of our $240 paid.

The lost money was spent on the retainer I suppose for the attorney selected. Non refundable. Never used. Just bought the guy a new Lexus. Lawyers always win..... and pilots always???????

They have a bunch of ex-OH guys on staff, but the marketing is terrible.

As a former Comair guy ('07 - '09) I feel for you guys. When I was furloughed in 09, I used money from the State of Michigan ("Michigan works" program) to get a Citation 500 series type rating, which led to a job. I dont know if they are still running that program but feel free to PM me for more details. Good Luck!

Did they ever post where to send PRIA requests now that the company is out of business?
