Comair updates?
Sittin' around getting fat(ter) waiting for my new Middle East gig to start. It's 60 days overdue, but things are finally moving along and expect to start around the 15th.
The highlights for today: depositing my unemployment check and watching The Price Is Right.
What do you plan to do if you take the buyout/voluntary furlough?

Did I miss one of your postings?. What middle eastern gig?. Do tell.

I'm not exactly sure yet. What I am sure of though is that even in such hard economic times, I am willing to leave my full-time job to wait tables if I must. I feel like this company has dragged me down so far that I am stuck reading message boards like this one and it has really brought me down over the years. I love to fly, but I absolutely will not tolerate the way this company(and other airlines) treat their employees anymore.
Somewhere in the back of my mind I seem to remember that right after bankruptcy when we came out with this profit sharing plan, that ALPA negotiated part of our share away. Something to the affect of, if the employees earn 2%, ALPA members earn 1.25 % or something.
I can't remember correctly, and my warped mind just may have made it up. Who knows?

ALPA gave up (or "waived") 1% for us to keep something else...
So when Comair announces 3% you get 2%.
No flight bennies though.
