Looks like a meeting from ALPA about ASAP and voluntary furloughs on Wednesday. The question becomes, is it better to take voluntary furlough, or a buyout? I am guessing voluntary furlough, since there really isn't anywhere to go.

The flight bennies are for Comair and Delta, not ASA/CHQ/NWA, etc.

So does anybody know how long Northwest will be considered "not Delta"?

For as long as it is convenient to "The Delta"

I have seen heard read the memo about even if Delta prevails, Comair won't see any more flying.

Really, On Autopilot... If anyone else in here believes this guy, stand on your head. I am fairly certain you are either furloughed like the rest of us or are so junior no one really cares about you at comair anyway and you would have no way of seeing a memo of that caliber at all. No one in any position at any airline right now knows what is going to happen with the whole Mesa ordeal. So how you can SPECULATE is absolutely amusing. And judging from your previous post you don't have the best track record of speculating anyway.

If we see more flying great, if not, oh well maybe some other poor guy won't lose his job. But for you to have to audacity to say I have seen, read and heard the memo is quite possibly the funniest thing I have read on here. Not that I have any love or admiration for management but I do hope that someone there reads this junk and gets a laugh. Yeh, we might be furloughed and things are bad now, but no one on this board is making things any better with comments like this or "comair sux." Yeh I feel the same way but what good does that do besides make youself look like a fool and just spread bad will.

Don't really care if I get banned for this statement or not but I get tired of seeing some of the junk our pilot group puts on here. It's about time some other people got on here and started calling people out on their BS and assumptions. The only thing I have seen on here that was correct was we were going to furlough; any one could have seen that coming with our cost structure the way it was and the way we were and are in some ways still run. So on this board why is it still called "Comair Updates" when it should be called "Comair Speculations and Ill Based Assumptions."

They say that, there is nothing to stop you from flying on any other carrier that you can list with on travelnet.

ASA, PQ, CHQ, SKW.....if they're flying a delta flight..it's fair game and I don't know of anyone that has had problems (myself included - ASA CHA-ATL)

Forget about United. According to New Guy #whatever United is not going to happen. It never was going to happen and according to him, whoever told you it was, was LYING. Yes, hard to believe that management at this dump would lie to you but they did. I too wish it would happen but I'm sure not holding my breath.

So management is saying management lied?? Could THAT be a lie? Couldn't this somehow lead to a black hole centered in CVG?

Is that the same CVG black hole that all our flying has dissapeared into?

Thanks, I can't see them keeping track of who's "flight" it is years from now.

I've never had the gate agent tell me "Comair can't fly on this Delta flight, it's an old Western route/crew/plane/etc...."
