Congrats! I think we talked about this in the CL. Work hard in school there, it's tough.

In fact if we as employees actually acted like we gave a crap we might not be in the sad state we are. I've never worked somewhere where people are so negative and lazy.
I think all those 100% completion days showed that even though we are furloughing and getting rid of people at alarming rates, we still gave a crap! I was furloughed Jan 19, but went out of the way to complete flights and be on time up until my last flight.

I was always happy to come to work here, until the last 4-5 months when the company began playing with peoples lives. Displacement, displacement canceled, displacement, furlough, no furlough, furlough, displacement. They act like they could give a crap about anyone that works there or their families. Now, the pilot group is down 800 people (or something like that) since 2005, and everyone left is on edge. There are FO's that were 6-8 year captains! And you want people to give a crap?

I'm not making the statement that all is well in paradise. Just that 80% of the people I flew with at CMR are the most negative people I have ever met. Yes... there are reasons to be upset, but I think our company and employees could benefit from some optimism. The fact that people think whats going on is the result of a few people wanting to bring grief to other co-workers is crazy. We are all in this together, and the minute we understand that, then work to make this place work better we'll all be a lot better off.

I was in both bases for a while... but yes you are right. The JFK group is a much less miserable group to be around.
