Comair updates?

I'm honestly done caring and saving this company money. They don't put out the effort to give a rats tookus about what happens to us, and to our mental stability, by dangling and taking away furloughs like they're nothing. This is no way to plan a life, no way to make a living and don't anyone DARE say "it's a regional, that's the way it is"..BULL****...We are human beings, and that's the attitude that brought the regionals to where they are, THINKING we deserve less is what got us less.
I think this is where we all need to just ban together as Comair Pilots show the higher ups exactly WHERE THIS AIRLINE WILL GO if we show some real solidarity. I'd rather see this place shut down than to see these *#()@ shenanigans continue.
I agree
Catchup Cruise everywhere we go
Double Engine Taxi's with APU
Max Thrust on takeoff
NO EFFING HATS
I am embarrassed to work for such a horribly run airline, and to be associated with the name "Delta".

Isn't oil going down at the moment?
We should anticipate fluctuations in our flight schedule to continue as Delta adjusts its plans
according to fuel prices and associated economic factors. I remain committed to sharing significant
updates with you.
Guys,
Don't get too worked up one way of the other. Until the first guy hits the street, this is all subject to change.
I wonder if the Jib Jab website has a skit we can use to show our affection for the new Delta?

I have thought about this for a while now. Its not over just yet guys.
1. Mesa may have approached the same judge seeing the 50 seat trial and asked them to roll both of these into 1 case.
2. Delta may have done the same thing in hopes of not dragging a second case out.
3. Mesa may be in danger of filling for bankruptcy and Delta knows it. Once mesa files Delta can cnx the contract with no recourse.
Either way anyone who thought that mesa wouldnt fight this and these aircraft would be on property in little over a month is crazy. I bought it for a while but really think about that. Its insane to think that these aircraft would be transfered in a month without a fight.

That's what I have said in one of my earlier posts. I would not be surprised if performance was the reason DL backed out on this deal.
MONTH-TO-DATE PERFORMANCE:
Completion: 93%
D-Zero: 63.6%
A14: 66.9%
Baggage: 18.1
Even with 2 former higher-ups from Comair now working at Delta Connection, we still won't see any growth....

maybe our performance numbers blow and thats why..... i cant tell you HOW MANY FLIGHTS I HAVE HAD LEAVE SO LATE bc of CREW SCHEDULING not being able to get their $hit straight.......... trading captains as we are about to push, forgetting to schedule crew members and being stranded in an outstation bla bla bla..... wx has been bad in nyc all month, but i bet our performance numbers are horrible right now

Hey Comair and Delta Management, F-ck your hats, F-ck your single engine taxi, F-ck your APU usage and finally F-ck PPAS (unless it augments MY PAY) and your Reduced thrust. We have been the most professional, cost efficient regional Delta has had and this is how you repay us. Screw you!!!!

It it not the weather or where we operate out of...all DCI carriers have to deal with these airports...maybe not to the extent as us but they still do.
The problem is people are trying to make up for lost money from concessions 75 hour months, and unproductive schedules. People are flying slow, and calling times late just to pad their pocket book. It is not hard to get a flight in on time, but a lot of these people are calling their times after A14 or whatever it is for their paychecks. I firmly believe ACARS would instantly increase our on time performance but the company is too damn cheap to install that as well....
Do your self a favor, when you have a captain/fo that wants to call times late, don't let them do it after the critical performance times...or do the honest thing and call them in at whatever time it is when you close/open the door like other airlines
Oh yeah...the scheduling department is horrible and would account for a lot of these delays as well....BUILD MORE LINES....LESS RESERVES!!!

Even with performance as bad as it has been, I am quite confident (for some reason) that Delta already took that into consideration before deciding to initially "award" the aircraft to Comair. As has already been posted, the most likely reason for the latest renege is that Mesa is dragging their feet (can't blame them) again. I actually read through the transcript of the Mesa conference call (Symb: MESA) and J.O. specifically states that they believe they have been wronged on both accounts and that they intend to fight both attempts by Delta to remove Freedom from DCI.
Until this all gets resolved, everyone needs to just relax and maintain the same professionalism we've continued to demonstrate during these recent "tough" times. Comair is what it is right now, and while that may not be a good thing, we, the crewmembers, etc. can do a lot to make things a little better. A good attitude towards your job and your fellow crewmembers is a nice place to start. Best of luck to everyone over the next few months and see you out on the line.....(or ready reserve chair).....

It's all a mystery right now what's going on with Delta, Comair and Mesa. Nobody knows for sure why they pulled the airplanes, was it because of our performance? Did Mesa fight it? Or does Delta know something about Mesa that we don't know? We can all sit here and speculate about things, we all have different views and opinions, but we are just driving ourselves nuts by doing so. We all know how Comair operates, and we all know it is not going to get any better anytime soon.
