Because I know that you're still reading this thread, here is the translation of what you're really saying;
"I am now questioning if I have more money than sense. So, instead of learning from my mistakes, I will continue to live in denial and adopt an "I am not out of the line, it is just that everyone else is" attitude and cut down the real professionals that looks down on PFT as being negative as opposed to the reality that it is positive to condemn PFT. So say all you want because I am cycling my fingers in and out of my ears and simply enunciating "blah blah blah blah......."
I don't care how old or educated you are, grow up junior! No matter how much you pout, there is no way to justify the brain fart of going to Jet U.

I don't think there is any reason for anybody to consider PFT while the Airlines are scrambling for Pilots as it is...But all I can really say is I never would have done it myself.

Ohhhh man, here we go.

With an attitude like that, I'd really recommend staying on the GA side of aviation. Because if you go running your mouth with BS like that to a senior captain, especially one who da*n near lost his/her livelihood because of airline cutbacks, bad things will happen. Our QOL is going to go nowhere if we have people pointing fingers. Is that the same mentality you're going to have when your #2 engine quit in rising terrain? This is the problem with the new 300 hour wonders from places like Jet U and MAPD- aside from the fact that they feed the $hitbox airlines like Mesa and Pinnacle, they take no ownership in their profession. And that, my friend, is the true cause of our present state of affairs.

The funny thing is that if he went to GoJets he wouldnt have had to spend that 27K at Jet U to get all that great "Experience"

Well, except for the fact that I got hired at UPS with 300 TT....is there something wrong with that?

You must be one of the "10%"
You are smoking crack if you can honestly say that women pilots are held to the same standards as men. I respect the ones that say "hell yea I'm a chick and I got hired/interviewed with low time bla bla because of the boobs, you would have done the same thing." I have been around a lot of airlnes, pilots and training and the chicks are cut more slack than guys, it starts with the private pilots license and keeps going. At airlines, mgt is scared to fire the girls because of lawsuits. The overall quality of the women I have flow with has been not very impressive, I have flown with some great chicks, one of the best pilots I flew with was a woman. But on the flip side the worst was also a chick (who was fired).

Things might be changing now, but it was definetly like this 5-10 years ago.

By the way, got every job I interviewed for, 3 furloughs, rode 2 airlines into the ground, checkairman, and more heavy time than you have total time.

Think what you want dude. I didn't say it was never like this but I don't feel that I was held to lower standards than anyone else. I have never failed a checkride or PC, I've never needed additional training and I had the same times when I got hired at UPS that other guys had. I also don't agree with anyone getting special treatment....everyone SHOULD be held to the same standards.

Oh, and whop da de dooo.....you have more heavy time than I have total time....you are cool. I never said that I had the most experience out of everyone in the world Stud. In addition, since you are apparently Chuck Yeager, have soooo much time and have gotten every job you have ever interviewed for, why do you feel the need to make childish comments about female pilots when the thread wasn't even about that? Immature comments like that make you look like a big cry baby. You should just worry about yourself since you are so awesome. Conversation over.

Not while I'm right seat. I'm not going to let a student pilot auger in due to lower standards just because they are female. F*#k that!
