It doesn't take long to realize that if you do what the FD is telling you to do, the plane does what you want it to do. No special training needed.

Take the 27th class. Heard that starting in January new hires will be paid at 300/wk instead of 75hr at 19.02/hr. Also hearing that the 27th class will also be up to 10 selected for the-700. Course I've heard different things from different people, so grain of salt and all that. Pretty sure about the 300/week thing though. That's been mentioned several times.

I am pretty sure every training class at ASA now gets paid the $300/wk pay, as the Nov 19th class was the last class to start before the new contract was signed on Nov 20th. So all the new hires in the Nov 19th class got a bonus check for the one day they worked under the old contract!

Also the Dec 27th class will probably have some people taken to the ATR, as they are taking people every other class to the Prop Mafia

Hi all, Im in the dec 10th class. The 27th class will have anywhere from 2-4 go to the ATR and 10 to the 700, then the rest will be 200, as per what I was told in class. And the new pay of 300/wk will start jan 1 so all classes up to that point are still getting 75hrs @19.02

Glad I slipped in the last class to get the small amount of extra cash, every little bit goes along way. As far as "up to 10 being SELECTED for the -700," what qualifies someone to be "selected," or do you just mean the 10 oldest in the class who choose to take the 700?

On the first day you will bid for your aircraft. You will pick whether you want the ATR, CRJ, or CR7. Then they will sort the awards out by seniority. So the oldest gets what they want and it goes down the line. If they dont have enough people picking the atr or cr7 than they will start from the bottom of the list and pick people until they fill their list. They being the company that is.

Some are some arent. Its a split. Mainly the reason why many people havent picked the CR7 is because the reserve is longer and the upgrade is a little longer too. Its a senior airplane so there isnt a whole lot of movement. But upgrade is still around 2-3 yrs, and resv on the 7 is anywhere from 3-8 mos.
