You have up to $550 you can use at the crew stores. And they pull $25 a check out until its all paid off.

What happens if someone in the 27th class takes the ATR and they get rid of them later this year? Do they just send you back to school for the CRJ's?

Yep you pretty much get to go back to training for a couple of months to get transition training for the CRJ. I wouldn't really worry about them getting rid of the ATRs till there is an actual confirmation that they are going. People keep "saying" they are going to leave, but there is no "documented proof" that they are leaving just yet.

Thanks for the info. Is the training for the ATR done in Atlanta and what does it consist of?

Reserve on the ATR is mor like 10 months to 1 year if you look at in terms of the january bid. It's really odd that they keep bringing people on but don't really move people off. 44 fo's 24 lines for january.

One of the perks for RAH was the fact that I could have my girlfriend as a "registered guest" for flight benefits. At ASA, I only heard mention of Parents, spouse, or children. Can anyone shed some light on this, i.e. can I have my girlfriend as a "registered guest" at ASA? Also, do you get any buddy passes or airfare discounts for friends and other non-qualifying family members?

Yes to both. You can designate a "travel companion", along with your parents. Not sure about kids though. (hopefully wont have to worry about that for a while!). As far as buddy passes...i believe its still 6 a year.
