That's true, but there is a difference between crashing because you lose situational awareness and crashing because you're purposefully pushing the limits. At least they didn't kill anyone else.

so which one of the two didn't push the limits??? and which of the two didn't lose situational awareness??? your comment makes no sense and has no rational. the guys that took it to 410 lost situational awareness by not paying attention to airspeed and stall margins, the klm guys lost situational awareness by being socked in by the fog. The 410 guys purposefully push the limits and payed the price. the klm guys pushed the limits and over 500 people payed the price... (i dare you to tell me that taking off without a clearance is not pushing the limit)

Instrument rating, Multi-engine rating
Education:
Some high school preferred, but will accept the Boy Scout Aviation Merit Badge in lou thereof.

Who's Lou? And how did the Merit Badge get inside of him? (Don't want to really know...)

haha wow more like any body over the age of 40 should be a pilot they could croak at any second

As a matter of fact, I think NO ONE should fly ANY PASSNGER JET without have 1200 PIC turbo jet time which they have paid for out of pocket. That 35 year old working on his CPL is MUCH more safe than the 22 year old with a CPL and a ME rating and has twice the hours. They need to put a law on this stuff.
